-In the beginning there is wholeness (harmony)
-in the middle (muddle) there is a separation (the spite or break)
-In the end there is nothing.  
-Then reconstitution (the full circle)
Creation-symbolic narrative of a culture, tradition or people that describes their earliest beginning, how                 the world they know began and how they first came into it. Commonly considered origin or biblical beliefs.
5 basic types of Myths:
1.       Creation ex nihilo in which the creation is through the thought, word, dream or bodily secretions of a diving being. (echnihilo- there is nothing or out of nothing)(Latin word) (logos-the word, mythos-the story)
2.       Earth diver creation in which a diver, usually a bird or amphibian sent by a creator, plunges to the seabed through a primordial ocean to bring up sand or mud which develops into terrestrial world.
3.       Emergence myths-early ancestors pass through a series of worlds until reaching the resent world.
4.       Creation through dismemberment of a primordial being 
5.       Creation by the splitting or ordering of a primordial unity such as the cracking of a cosmic egg or a bringing into form from chaos. (Example: humpty dumpty or Wall Street.)
Tiamot is a chaos monster.  Is killed and split in half.  Part is the heavens and part is the earth.
Creation Stories and Ideas:
-Biblical creation story is a late mythical story. These are the happenings before the biblical story.
                -women creating the world all by herself
                -division of female
                -god speaks/male (biblical start)
(Gildimish- book that predates the bible)
